Charlie Millin leads the CFS producing programme. Charlie studies The European Breeding Programmes and is particularly astute when it comes to sourcing young horses with top bloodlines. He likes to purchase unbroken youngsters by up-and-coming young stallions with agility, power, and scope, out of equally talented mares with a proven history of successful progeny.
Church Farm Stables sources its horses from some of the best breeding studs in the country. Charlie has an excellent working relationship with breeders such as Castell Sport Horses, and top riders, trainers and sellers in the industry.
Sourcing the right horse or pony to match its riders' current skills and circumstances is an important part of the process when it comes to selling Horses and Charlie works with both buyers and sellers to ensure a suitable, honest, and amicable transaction can be achieved.

CFS MIAMI - 7yo mare
CFS Miami arrived at Church Farm as a 2 year old filly from the Stud Castell Sports Horses. Miami is now competing at a 1.35 level after qualifying for the World Young Horse Championships at Lanaken in Belgium as a 6 year old. Plans for Miami this year is to concentrate on the 7 year old class at Lanaken and the Horse of the Year qualifiers.
CFS MARDI GRAS - 7yo mare
CFS Mardi Gras arrived at Church Farm as a 2 year old fillie from the Stud Castell Sports Horses. Mardi Gras is currently competing at a 1.25 level with the aim of competing in the 7 year old classes and the Horse of the Year qualifiers this year.
CFS OCTOBER - 5yo mare
CFS October arrived as a 2yo filly from Castell Sport Horses. October has just started her working life, and is a careful ride with lots of potential. She will be produced slowly to give her time to mature and help develop her into a top show jumping horse.
CFS ORIGINAL - 5yo mare
CFS Original arrived as a 2 year old filly from Castell Sports Horses. Original has just started her working life and is proving to be very bold and brave. She is now ready for regular shows, with the aim of competing in the 5yo classes later this year.
CFS SECRET CODE - 3yo mare
Our first homebred at Church Farm Stables out of our mare, Bow House Secret. Bow House Secret competed up to 1.45m level with Carmen Edwards. CFS Secret Code is looking extremely impressive loose jumping and we're looking forward to training her further.

MILLFIELD BALONEY
Sourced as an unbroken 3-year-old from Millfield Stud, "Louis" was produced to Grade A by Andrew Millin from 2010 to 2015. He competed at HOYS in 2013 in The Talent Seekers as a 7-year-old and has now gone on to be twice National Champion and a prolific winner on the National and International Circuit.
MOONSTERN JX
Brought down from Scotland as a 3-year-old from the late Jane Maxwell JX Sport Horses, 'Hugo' was produced by Andrew Millin in the latter stages of his career. The ride was then offered to international rider George Whittaker who competed with him in international classes in Spain. Moonstern JX is now owned by international rider Nathan Bull and is a Puissance and Six Bar specialist.
CAPISTELLE JX
Also brought down from Scotland as a 2-year-old, 'Marnie', was broken in and sold as a 5-year-old to southern rider Hannah Tiley. Hannah and Marnie were a perfect match for each other and is now Grade A. They regularly compete down on the south east of England circuit and have achieved outstanding results at 1.30m level.
IPSODONIUS
'Teddy' was sourced by Charlie for young rider Lucy Melchers as her first horse. Lucy has made a close bond with Teddy and is now looking forward to contesting the BS Bronze League qualifiers this year.
CFS NATHALIA
Nathalia was bought from Castell Sport Horses as a 2-year-old. Nathalia was broken and then sold to local rider Levi Critchlow. Levi has had many successes and is currently competing in Foxhunter classes. Nathalia will be targeting the 6-year-old British Showjumping Classes with her this year aiming to qualify for Lanaken World Breeding Championships in September 2024.
