TRAINING

Training at Church Farm

Correct training is the key to success and with the combination of experienced and knowledgable coaches combined with excellent facilities, Church Farm Stables is the place to train.

Church Farm Stables has two resident UKCC accredited Showjumping coaches, Andrew and Charlie Millin, who have over 60 years competition experience between them. They coach riders from grassroots upwards and their coaching programmes are tailored to suit each individuals needs. Both Andrew and Charlie regularly hold group sessions and clinics, specialising in gridwork, pole clinics and competition training.

Church Farm Stables regularly organises coaching days from some of the best riders and coaches in the world!

Andrew and Charlie both run the British Showjumping Lancashire Cheshire Junior Academy. The Academy is overseen by British Showjumping and is the starting block to a dedicated and professional attitude to the sport. The concept of 'team' is very important and with over 50 riders already signed up in 2024, things are looking good for the future of the sport.

Church Farm is hoping to introduce residential packages in the near future.
